Jam Coding has expanded its presence in the United Kingdom with the launch of a new franchise territory in Shropshire. The operation will be led by entrepreneur Joe Primarolo, who aims to deliver coding education and digital skills workshops to schools and communities across the region.
Primarolo brings a diverse professional background to the role. After graduating with a degree in French, he spent seventeen years working as a trading analyst in the sports betting industry. He later pursued entrepreneurship in the health sector and currently operates two hair loss clinics alongside his new education venture.
The decision to launch the franchise was influenced by Primarolo’s experience as a parent. While searching for educational opportunities that could challenge and inspire his eldest son, he discovered that local coding clubs and structured computing sessions were not readily available in the area. That gap in the market encouraged him to bring Jam Coding’s programs to Shropshire.
“Jam Coding stood out because of the passion and commitment shown by the team,” Primarolo said. “It is clear that the organisation genuinely cares about education and about helping children build skills that will support them throughout their lives.”
Through its workshops and school programs, Jam Coding focuses on more than technical instruction. Sessions are designed to encourage teamwork, creativity, and problem solving while introducing children to the principles of coding and digital literacy. By partnering with schools and local communities, the new Shropshire franchise aims to help young learners develop the confidence and skills needed for an increasingly digital world.
