Proforma had a good week on two fronts that don't usually show up in the same headline. The print and promotional products company landed the No. 3 spot on Print & Promo Marketing's 2026 Top Print Distributors list, a ranking of the top 20 companies in the industry by print revenue, on the strength of more than 9 percent year-over-year growth. Days apart from that, it also turned up on PPAI's 2026 Greatest Companies to Work For list, a recognition built entirely from employee survey responses rather than anything the company submits about itself.
That second list is worth pausing on, since it doesn't reward marketing copy, it rewards what employees actually say about leadership, communication, benefits and whether they see a path to grow. Proforma, headquartered in Independence, Ohio, made the cut alongside more than 130 other companies this year in a program that has grown by over 20 honorees since last year's edition. Getting picked by your own staff is a different kind of hard than winning on revenue.
Michelle Dalton, who leads owner and supplier success at Proforma, tied the two wins together in her own read on the moment, framing the recognition as proof that the company's distributor owners have both the skill and the flexibility to keep performing even as conditions shift under them. Doug Kordel, the company's president and chief legal officer, put it more simply: people plus the right technology is what actually moves the needle, and Proforma has spent years building both sides of that equation rather than treating them as separate problems.
A company doesn't land two unrelated industry recognitions in the same week by accident, and both are the kind of external validation worth putting in front of prospective owners, partners and clients alike. Gorilla Dash offers a Reputation Management feature designed to help growing franchise and distributor networks keep track of accolades, reviews and third-party recognition like this in one place, making it easier to put proof points like these to work across marketing and sales conversations.
