Brandon Solano, chief executive officer of RAVE Restaurant Group, said the idea was to reinterpret the nostalgia of a caramel apple in a format that fits Pizza Inn’s buffet experience. The new Pizzert brings together sweet and savory elements while giving customers a seasonal option during Halloween celebrations, Friendsgiving dinners and Thanksgiving gatherings.
The dessert will be available at participating Pizza Inn locations through the buffet, carryout and online ordering, including DoorDash. The company is also promoting a $5 carryout special featuring its Chocolate Chip and Bavarian Cream Pizzerts, offering customers additional dessert options to take home for seasonal get-togethers. The carryout offer is separate from the new Caramel Apple & Pretzel Pizzert, and regular buffet prices vary by independently owned location.
