K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel is preparing to open its 53rd location in Sterling, Virginia, bringing its premium dog boarding and daycare concept to Northern Virginia. The public grand opening is scheduled for November 7 at 11 Pidgeon Hill Drive, where visitors can tour the facility, learn about its services and explore special offers. The opening marks the brand’s second Virginia location and expands its presence near Washington Dulles International Airport.
The 7,000-square-foot resort is designed to accommodate more than 100 dogs for boarding and daycare, with nearly 3,000 square feet of outdoor play areas. Its amenities include cage-free boarding, spacious suites, all-inclusive meals, antimicrobial flooring and sound-reducing walls. Hospital-grade ventilation and cleaning protocols are also part of the facility’s approach to pet care. The resort will offer group daycare for small and large dogs, along with individualized daycare options.
The opening also introduces a Service Appreciation Program that offers a 15% discount on boarding and daycare for government employees, military members and first responders. Coby Shepard, general manager of K9 Resorts Sterling, said the program recognizes residents whose work can take them away from home and their pets. The location’s proximity to the Dulles corridor and federal agencies gives the business an opportunity to serve government workers and traveling families who need care for their dogs.
Lia Moncholi, CEO of Luxury Pet Hotel Investments, the company operating the Sterling resort, said the team looks forward to welcoming the Loudoun County community. Personalized and group tours are available beginning October 27, ahead of the public celebration.
