A playful prank evolved into a Wine Bath inspired by traditional vinotherapy after overwhelming guest demand.

  • Oakwell Beer Spa launches Wine Bath in September.
  • The concept began as an April Fools' joke.
  • Wine Bath includes grape skin powder, rose petals, and tulsi.

Oakwell Beer Spa is introducing a new Wine Bath experience this September at its Denver and Highlands Ranch locations after an April Fools' campaign generated an unexpected response from guests. What began as a fictional announcement quickly evolved into a new wellness offering after the company received more than 100 requests encouraging it to make the concept a reality.

The Wine Bath combines grape skin powder, rose petals, tulsi and oat flakes in a vinotherapy-inspired soak designed to complement Oakwell's existing Calming Amber and Muscle Relaxing Lager bath experiences. The concept draws on long-standing European wellness traditions, particularly in France and Spain, where grape-based treatments have been associated with spa and skincare rituals for generations.

Co-founder Damien Zouaoui said the new offering also reflects his French heritage and the company's commitment to listening to customer feedback. To create the experience, Oakwell sources grape skin powder from Organovita, a family-owned vineyard in Brazil that repurposes post-harvest grape skins into a nutrient-rich powder, combining sustainability with botanical wellness ingredients.

Customer feedback continues to play an important role in shaping new products and services across franchise businesses. The Reputation Management feature in Gorilla Dash helps franchise organizations monitor customer sentiment, identify emerging trends and turn guest insights into opportunities for innovation and stronger customer experiences.
