Mark Geiser is bringing SpringGreen to Canton, Ohio, adding a new franchise territory to the company’s growing presence in the green industry. Geiser brings more than 30 years of business ownership experience to the venture and currently co-owns Fox Lake Property Services, a landscaping company he has operated since 2011. His background also includes tree services, agriculture and farming, giving him experience across several areas of the industry as he takes on a new stage of expansion with SpringGreen.
The decision to join SpringGreen followed Geiser’s exploration of opportunities that could complement the business experience he had already developed. His introduction to the franchise included Discovery Day, where he spent time with the company’s leadership and learned more about its operating model and culture. Geiser said SpringGreen’s values, people and focus on profitability helped reinforce his decision, while the franchise structure offered a way to build on his existing knowledge while entering a new market.
Geiser plans to develop the Canton operation around lawn care, tree care and pest control services. His longer-term goal is to establish a larger presence throughout the territory, including multiple service routes as the business develops. The expansion gives him an opportunity to apply the hands-on industry knowledge gained through his existing company while drawing on SpringGreen’s established systems and support network.
For SpringGreen, Geiser’s arrival adds an experienced business owner with a background that closely aligns with the services offered by the franchise.
