Jungle Driving has named Cheryl Price as its Director of Training and Development, placing her at the forefront of franchisee preparation as the company expands into new markets. With more than a decade of experience designing onboarding programs for national brands, Price is tasked with ensuring that every new franchise owner enters the system with the tools and confidence to succeed.
Her influence begins from the moment a franchisee signs on. Price has developed an in-house curriculum for student drivers and a comprehensive onboarding program for owners that aim to create consistency and clarity across the brand. “Each expectation laid out for new owners is not just a bullet point; it is a lifeline,” she said, emphasizing her view of training as both practical guidance and personal support.
Price’s career includes roles at HorsePower Brands and Right at Home, where she designed and implemented national training systems. Those experiences, she explained, gave her insight into scaling operations effectively while balancing the needs of entrepreneurs. At Jungle Driving, she said she sees a unique opportunity to blend professional rigor with community impact, particularly in helping keep teen drivers safe on the road.
Her philosophy is rooted in over-communication, empathy, and clear expectations. She believes that training must be as much about listening as teaching, with trainers taking the time to understand each franchisee’s perspective. At Jungle Driving, members of the operations team also train in Omaha, giving them firsthand experience with the onboarding process while building stronger relationships with new owners.
The company’s training program combines online coursework, live instruction at headquarters, and on-site support during a franchisee’s grand opening. The goal is to reduce uncertainty for new owners while establishing consistent standards across the system. Zach Beutler, chief executive of Jungle Driving, praised Price’s leadership, calling her “authentic, passionate, and dedicated,” and said her approach sets franchisees up for long-term success.
Founded in 2003 and relaunched as a franchise in 2025, Jungle Driving is positioning itself as both a mission-driven brand and a business opportunity. By elevating training as a central part of its growth strategy, the company underscores its belief that franchisee readiness is essential not only for business performance but also for fulfilling its broader purpose of improving safety for young drivers.
