A new Simpsons Treehouse of Horror collaboration brings Krusty-inspired burgers, glow-in-the-dark cups and a Munchie Meal of Horror to menus nationwide.

  • Jack in the Box partners with The Simpsons for Treehouse of Horror menu.
  • Krusty-inspired burgers and glow-in-the-dark cups feature in limited-time offer.
  • The Munchie Meal of Horror includes special edition collectible cups.

Jack in the Box has launched a limited-time collaboration with The Simpsons, bringing the show's Treehouse of Horror specials to its drive-thrus nationwide starting September 10. The lineup includes Krusty-inspired burgers, a new Spooky Simpsons Sauce, Forbidden D'oh!nut Holes, six special-edition glow-in-the-dark collectible cups and custom Treehouse of Horror packaging.

Leading the collaboration is the Munchie Meal of Horror, a twist on Jack's late-night menu offering a choice between the Double Krusty Burger of Terror or Double Chicken Sandwich of Terror, served with two tacos, seasoned curly fries and a drink. Each meal comes with one of the six collectible cups and arrives in an exclusive Munchie Meal of Horror box featuring characters and references pulled from past Treehouse of Horror episodes. Guests looking for a more classic option can also choose from a separate lineup of Treehouse of Horror Meals, including the Krusty Burger of Terror, Double Krusty Burger of Terror, Triple Krusty Burger of Terror and Double Chicken Sandwich of Terror, each served with fries and a drink. Both burgers and the chicken sandwich feature the new Spooky Simpsons Sauce, a smoky BBQ ketchup created specifically for the collaboration, served on custom sesame seed buns.

Rounding out the menu is the Forbidden D'oh!nut Holes, inspired by Homer Simpson's famous deal with the devil for a donut. The warm donut holes are dusted with cinnamon sugar, topped with pink frosting and finished with rainbow sprinkles, with packaging depicting Homer's transformation into a donut from the classic episode segment.

The six collectible cups, available with the Munchie Meal of Horror while supplies last, feature Treehouse of Horror-inspired designs of fan-favorite characters including Hugo, Bart's evil twin brother, along with Krusty the Clown, Marge, and Kang and Kodos. Coordinating a limited-time, collectible-driven promotion like this across thousands of locations nationwide takes careful planning to keep offers and inventory aligned. Gorilla Dash offers a Competitions and Promotions feature designed to help franchise brands manage campaigns like this one, keeping limited-time offers and collectible tie-ins consistent system-wide.

Katelyn Zborowski, Chief Marketing Officer at Jack in the Box, said the best collaborations start with understanding what excites fans, and that Jack and The Simpsons share an irreverent sense of humor that made this partnership a natural fit. Matt Selman, executive producer and showrunner of The Simpsons, said the Munchie Meal of Horror stands out for how deeply it references both franchises, calling the collectible cups a high bar for the kind of crossover work the show has done.

The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror menu is available for a limited time at participating Jack in the Box restaurants nationwide, through the Jack app and at JackintheBox.com, while supplies last.
