Everbowl is celebrating its 10th anniversary on October 16, marking a decade since its first location opened in San Diego. The fast-casual superfood brand now operates more than 100 locations across 33 states and reports having sold more than 5 million bowls. The anniversary comes as the company continues to pursue nationwide expansion, with more than 100 additional locations in development.
Founder Jeff Fenster brought a background in sales and entrepreneurship to the business. Before entering the superfood restaurant market, he worked as a top sales representative at ADP, launched a payroll company and later operated a digital marketing agency. A partnership with QVC helped introduce Everbowl’s do-it-yourself açaí bowl kits to a wider audience in 2020, when the company sold 70,000 boxes and subsequently moved toward franchising.
The company’s growth has also created opportunities for employees to advance. Hailey Coffman began as a store employee at an Everbowl location in San Diego and now serves as manager of training and special operations at the company’s headquarters, helping prepare franchisees across the country. Her progression reflects the role of staff development as the brand adds locations and works to maintain a consistent customer experience.
To mark the anniversary, Everbowl introduced a limited-edition bowl featuring its signature açaí base combined with seasonal ube, gluten-free granola, strawberries, bananas, blueberries and peanut butter. The item is available at participating locations through October 25. On October 16, loyalty members can purchase a regular-size Anniversary Bowl for $8, a price intended to recall the brand’s opening-year pricing. The Competitions and Promotions feature available through Gorilla Dash can help franchise organizations coordinate limited-time offers and communicate campaign details across their networks.
Everbowl enters its second decade with a growing national presence and a pipeline of more than 100 locations in development. Its anniversary combines a customer-facing promotion with a broader story of franchise growth, employee advancement and brand development. Whether the company can convert its pipeline into open restaurants will be an important measure of its next phase, as it seeks to make its superfood menu a regular choice for more communities.
