FAT Brands Inc. has added a high-profile entry to the Dallas restaurant scene with the debut of its first combined Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express location at Preston Hollow Village. The opening brings the legacy of Fatburger’s Hollywood roots to Texas, offering burgers cooked to order and customizable with indulgent toppings such as bacon, fried eggs, chili, and onion rings. The dual-concept restaurant reflects the company’s strategy of pairing comfort classics with a more contemporary fast-casual experience.
Buffalo’s Express complements the menu with bone-in and boneless wings prepared in a wide selection of sauces, creating an offering that appeals to diners seeking variety beyond traditional burgers. The partnership of the two brands under one roof is designed to give guests multiple reasons to visit, whether for a full meal or quick takeout. Together, the concepts serve families, professionals, and students looking for both customization and convenience.
Jake Berchtold, COO of FAT Brands’ Fast Casual Division, described the Dallas launch as a milestone in a fast-growing market for the company. He emphasized that Texas has consistently demonstrated strong enthusiasm for the brands and that their made-to-order approach paired with an upbeat dining environment continues to resonate with local consumers. The opening aligns with FAT Brands’ broader expansion strategy, signaling confidence in the Dallas market and the appeal of the dual-restaurant format.
A grand opening celebration took place on November 22 at 10:30 a.m., drawing a crowd of early visitors. The first 100 guests received a free Original Fatburger, and customers throughout the day were treated to free fries with any purchase. With its lively debut and a menu centered on comfort food favorites, the Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express partnership is positioned to become a new gathering spot in Preston Hollow Village, adding another layer to the city’s rapidly evolving fast-casual dining landscape.
