In a heartwarming display of generosity, Cousins Subs® recently awarded a total of $12,000 in grants to four deserving local nonprofits through its Make It Better Foundation. Among the recipients of these grants are ABCD, Bell Tower Memorial, Fostering Community, and Sleep in Heavenly Peace, each embodying the spirit of community service and making a tangible difference in the lives of those they serve.

ABCD, an organization dedicated to fostering mentorship and support, received a $2,500 grant that will be used for mentor recruitment and training. This funding will enable them to expand their reach and provide valuable guidance to those in need.

Bell Tower Memorial, recognized for its commitment to preserving the oral histories of veterans, was awarded a $2,000 grant for their Veterans Oral History Project. This initiative not only honors the sacrifices of our veterans but also ensures that their stories are passed down for future generations to remember.

Fostering Community, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting foster children, received a significant grant of $5,000 for their Back-to-School event. This event aims to provide essential school supplies to foster children, helping alleviate financial burdens for families and ensuring that every child has the tools they need to succeed.

Lastly, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an organization dedicated to providing beds to children in need, received a grant of $1,000 to support their "Build and Delivery Days" program. This funding will enable them to continue their crucial work of ensuring that every child has a safe and comfortable place to rest at night.
