Chester's Chicken has broadened its menu with the addition of bone-in wings, giving customers a new reason to stop by its restaurants. Lightly breaded and available either sauced or unsauced, the wings come in flavors such as Buffalo and Stingin’ Honey Garlic. Guests can order them in a variety of portion sizes, making them suitable for both solo meals and shared occasions.
William Culpepper, the company’s vice president of marketing, said the wings are a natural fit for a brand that has always been shaped by customer feedback. “Bone-in wings are the perfect complement to our menu,” he said. “Guests love our staples, but we are always looking for ways to evolve and elevate the flavors that Chester’s is known for.”
The menu expansion builds on other recent moves by the company. Chester’s has revived its fried chicken sandwich and added unsauced chicken bites with dipping sauces that include Ranch, BBQ and a proprietary house recipe. Each of these changes reflects an effort to pair time-tested tradition with modern dining expectations.
For more than seventy years, Chester’s has relied on its family recipe, carefully marinated chicken and distinctive double-breaded crust to set itself apart in the crowded quick-service market. Adding wings acknowledges both customer appetite and broader industry trends, with wings remaining one of the most sought-after items across the fast-food sector.
The new item will be available at participating locations, allowing the company to adapt its operations and gauge demand as the rollout continues. By offering multiple portion sizes, Chester’s is positioning its wings to work just as well for a quick bite as for a family meal.
Franchisees are expected to benefit from the new offering, even as it requires adjustments in kitchen routines and promotional strategies. The company sees wings not as a limited-time experiment but as a core part of its evolving menu. If customers respond as anticipated, wings could play a central role in shaping Chester’s growth trajectory and reinforcing its standing among chicken-focused quick-service chains.
