Bubbakoo’s Burritos has expanded its Connecticut presence with the opening of a new restaurant in North Haven, the brand’s sixth location in the state. The doors opened on September 26, adding to existing sites in Meriden, Norwalk, Orange, Oxford, and Stamford as the fast-casual chain continues its steady growth.
The North Haven franchise is operated by local entrepreneur Hiren Patel, who also opened the Meriden location just one month earlier. Patel marked the debut with a free taco promotion for customers on opening day, underscoring his enthusiasm for introducing the brand to another community. “Following the excitement of our Meriden opening, we’re thrilled to be expanding just south in North Haven,” Patel said. “This community is a great fit for the Bubbakoo’s experience, and we look forward to welcoming even more guests to enjoy the creativity and flavor the brand is known for.”
Founded in 2008, Bubbakoo’s has built its reputation on inventive flavors and customizable meals served in a relaxed, customer-friendly setting. The new restaurant features popular menu items such as the Papi Hibachi burrito, Saucy Snack Wraps, the Nashville burrito, and the Crispy Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla, all prepared with fresh ingredients designed to appeal to a wide range of tastes.
Chris Ives, chief executive officer of Bubbakoo’s, said the latest opening builds on the momentum of the brand’s recent success in Meriden. “This location gives us the chance to share our creative menu and commitment to hospitality with even more guests nearby,” he noted.
The addition of North Haven highlights Bubbakoo’s broader strategy of combining strong franchisee partnerships with a focus on customer engagement to expand in key markets. With Patel leading the charge in Connecticut, the brand is strengthening its position in the region while staying true to its mission of delivering flavor, variety, and hospitality.
