The new franchise operates from EoS Fitness at 52 E University Parkway in Orem and is owned by Heidi and Arthur Allen, a local husband-and-wife team with backgrounds in education, health care and community service. The school officially opened in early May, with additional pool partnerships and expanded hours planned for the coming months.
For Heidi Allen, the business represents a personal connection to swimming and water safety. Her father was a competitive swimmer who nearly qualified for the Olympics, while her mother's fear of water led the family to prioritize water-survival skills from an early age. That experience later shaped Heidi's approach to swim education, which continued with her own son when he joined a swim team at age six.
The Orem-Provo school serves swimmers across age groups, from infants and toddlers to children and adults. Its curriculum begins with essential water-survival skills before progressing to stroke development, technique, endurance and confidence. Lessons are structured around small class sizes and progression based on individual ability rather than age.
The Allens are also building relationships with schools, daycares, businesses and community organizations throughout Utah Valley. Those efforts extend the franchise beyond swim lessons by creating opportunities for broader water-safety education and community outreach. Registration is open, while updated fall schedules and additional operating hours are expected as the location grows.
