Flying Biscuit Café is continuing its expansion across North Carolina with plans to open a new restaurant at 6609 Falls of Neuse Road in North Raleigh. The location will be operated by franchisee Tahir Rafiq, who already owns three Flying Biscuit cafés in the Triangle region. Scheduled to open during the first quarter of 2027, the restaurant will extend the brand's footprint into one of Raleigh's fastest-growing residential corridors.
Rafiq said the decision to invest in North Raleigh was driven by the area's growing population of families, schools and professionals, coupled with a limited selection of dedicated breakfast restaurants. He believes the neighborhood presents an opportunity to introduce Flying Biscuit's all-day breakfast concept to a community that has been underserved despite its continued development.
The lease agreement was completed with support from Vijay Shah and Shelley Bhattia of TradeMark Properties, along with Cori Nix of CBRE. Their collaboration helped secure a location positioned to benefit from strong daily traffic and long-term commercial growth, reinforcing Flying Biscuit's strategy of expanding through experienced local franchise operators.
