STRONG Pilates has signed a master franchise agreement with Poland-based Xtreme Brands, marking the Australian fitness company’s entry into Poland and the Czech Republic. The deal expands STRONG Pilates’ international footprint to 16 countries and represents a significant step in its growth strategy across Central and Eastern Europe.
The partnership will introduce the brand into Xtreme Brands’ network of 189 Xtreme Fitness Gyms clubs. STRONG Pilates said the agreement combines its boutique fitness concept with Xtreme’s experience in club development and multi-unit fitness operations, creating a platform for broader regional growth.
Michael Ramsey, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of STRONG Pilates, said the partnership aligns with the company’s long-term expansion strategy and its focus on working with operators that share similar growth ambitions. James Cotton, Chief Executive Officer of Xtreme Fitness Gyms, said the company sees significant potential to scale the STRONG Pilates concept throughout Central and Eastern Europe.
STRONG Pilates has built its brand around workouts that combine Pilates-inspired movement with cardio training through proprietary equipment such as the Rowformer and Bike. The company positions the format as a low-impact, high-intensity fitness experience designed to appeal to a broad range of consumers seeking efficient, studio-based training.
International franchise growth often depends on maintaining operational consistency across multiple markets. Platforms such as Gorilla Dash can help franchise operators support Knowledge Base access, centralize operational guidance, and improve communication across expanding international networks.
The agreement underscores the continued momentum of boutique fitness franchising in Central and Eastern Europe, where wellness-focused concepts continue to attract both consumers and investors. For STRONG Pilates, the expansion into Poland and the Czech Republic provides a strategic foothold in a region where organized fitness participation and franchise investment have continued to grow.
