Stretch Zone has taken its first steps onto the international stage with the opening of a studio in Toronto. The expansion introduces the U.S.-based brand’s practitioner-assisted stretching services to Canada, highlighting the company’s ambition to bring its model of mobility and wellness to new markets.
The Toronto location is led by franchisees Joe Korman and Avie Roth, who saw an opportunity to introduce a new health and recovery solution to their community. With the backing of Stretch Zone’s full franchise support system, including training, marketing, and operational guidance, the pair are well positioned to establish the brand’s presence in Canada.
Tony Zaccario, President and CEO of Stretch Zone, called the launch a meaningful step toward a broader international growth strategy. “Canada’s wellness-minded community aligns perfectly with our mission to help people move better and feel better,” he said. “This opening shows how assisted stretching can evolve from a specialized service into a standard part of healthy living.”
Stretch Zone’s approach centers on 30-minute sessions where certified practitioners guide controlled stretches using the brand’s patented strapping system. Clients remain relaxed and fully clothed, allowing the practitioner to manage intensity and technique safely. According to Korman, this creates a welcoming and results-driven experience. “We felt supported every step of the way,” he said. “Now we are excited to help Canadians recover faster and move with greater freedom.”
The Toronto studio is already drawing attention for its welcoming atmosphere and innovative approach. Stretch Zone is offering introductory consultations and complimentary sessions for new members, alongside plans for a community-focused celebration to mark the occasion. For the brand, the launch represents more than a single studio — it signals the beginning of a new chapter in global expansion.
