Sola Salons is accelerating its footprint in Florida with three new studio locations opening in Orlando, Bonita Springs, and Lakeland. This latest expansion signals the brand’s continued momentum and strong performance in one of its fastest-growing regional markets.
The Orlando studio officially opened in April and is operated by Haynes Chidsey, a seasoned multi-unit franchisee who oversees more than 50 Sola Salons locations across the country. With 14 of those studios in Florida alone, Chidsey’s ongoing investment reflects his confidence in both the brand and the state’s vibrant beauty industry.
In Southwest Florida, Linda and Harold Rauner have launched a new Bonita Springs location in July. The husband-and-wife team, operating under Sola Pelican Landing LLC, previously acquired and renovated a property to bring the concept to the community. Their new studio is already attracting independent beauty professionals seeking private, fully equipped salon suites in a prime area of Lee County.
Sola Salons also has plans to open in Lakeland in early August, further extending its reach into Central Florida. The new location is part of the company’s broader strategy to offer turnkey spaces where hairstylists, estheticians, massage therapists, and other wellness practitioners can build and grow their own businesses without the overhead of traditional salon models.
“Florida continues to be a high-performing market for Sola Salons,” said Daryl Hurst, President and COO. “The demand we’re seeing reflects the entrepreneurial energy and creative talent across the state.”
Sola Salons currently operates over 740 locations across North America, and its expansion in Florida exemplifies the brand’s ability to partner with experienced operators and meet the growing needs of beauty professionals in local communities.
