Signs Express, the UK’s largest signage and graphics franchise, is introducing two innovative business models to support independent signage and print businesses at The Sign Show this September. The Rebrand Proposition allows existing businesses to rebrand as Signs Express centres, giving them access to national marketing, supplier agreements, and franchise infrastructure while maintaining ownership. According to Aaron Davis, Network Development Director, this model “gives business owners the best of both worlds—freedom to run their business, with the support and structure to accelerate growth.”
The second option, the Conversion Resale model, provides a streamlined path to selling a signage business. Signs Express acts as the broker and rebrands the operations post-sale, offering a ready-to-run franchise backed by brand recognition and organizational support. This model is structured on a “no sale, no fee” basis to reduce transition friction.
These two additions complement the existing Resale and Start-Up models and are part of an expansion strategy aimed at reinvigorating local businesses in a highly competitive market. The official launch will take place at the NEC Birmingham from September 23 to 25 at The Sign Show, which will be hosted alongside The Print Show.
With over 60 locations and more than 35 years of experience, Signs Express is offering flexible routes for independent operators to join a national network without sacrificing local identity. This development underscores the brand’s mission to empower signage professionals with both legacy and innovation.
