Pretzelmaker has opened a new location at the Poughkeepsie Galleria in Poughkeepsie, New York, extending the brand’s footprint into another East Coast market. Located at 2001 South Road, C114, the store serves the brand’s made-from-scratch Pretzel Bites, hand-rolled soft pretzels, dipping sauces and fresh-squeezed lemonade. The opening adds a new location to a concept that began as a single pretzel stand in 1991.
The Poughkeepsie store is positioned inside Dutchess County’s largest shopping center, giving Pretzelmaker a presence in an established retail destination. Allison Lauenstein, president of Pretzelmaker, said the opening allows the brand to introduce its fresh-baked offerings to new guests while continuing its expansion throughout the East Coast. The location is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Pretzelmaker has built its identity around bite-sized products made fresh in its stores, with Pretzel Bites remaining one of its defining offerings. The brand also serves several varieties of dipping sauces and lemonade, while its broader menu includes stuffed and flavored Pretzel Bites, mini dog options and smoothies. Its current company materials say the concept has more than 280 locations in the United States and worldwide.
