Penn Station East Coast Subs is leaning into Cincinnati’s passion for football as it celebrates its 40th anniversary with a mix of fan engagement and franchise expansion. The sandwich chain has renewed its partnership with the Cincinnati Bengals for the 2025–2026 NFL season, giving customers an added reason to celebrate game days.
Beginning August 26, the brand will launch “Who Dey Tuesdays,” a promotion offering Bengals fans a free small sub with the purchase of another sub on the Tuesday following any Bengals game. The deal applies regardless of whether the team wins or loses, underscoring the brand’s message that loyalty transcends the scoreboard. The offer can be redeemed online, through the app, or in participating stores using the code BENGALS25.
“Football and subs go great together,” said Craig Dunaway, chief operating officer of Penn Station. He added that Cincinnati has always been central to the company’s identity. “Teaming up with the Bengals strengthens our commitment to the community.”
For franchise owners, the Bengals tie-in is more than a customer giveaway—it is a strategic effort to boost midweek traffic and strengthen connections with the brand’s core market. By linking its promotions to one of the city’s most visible institutions, Penn Station is anchoring itself even deeper into local culture while appealing to both longtime fans and casual diners.
The campaign also arrives at a pivotal moment for the franchise. Penn Station is using the season and its milestone anniversary to highlight its national growth ambitions. The company has announced a limited-time incentive for prospective operators: six months royalty-free and half off the franchise fee for those who commit to multi-unit development agreements in eligible territories.
This combination of customer-focused promotions and franchise recruitment efforts underscores Penn Station’s dual playbook. On one side, it delivers fan-driven excitement at the restaurant level. On the other, it signals aggressive expansion by lowering barriers for new partners.
With a growing footprint and a strong brand identity rooted in Cincinnati, Penn Station is positioning itself as both a community staple and a national growth contender. Its renewed Bengals partnership reflects not just sports marketing, but a broader strategy to keep the brand top of mind for both consumers and investors alike.
