Chicken Salad Chick has officially opened its doors in Mansfield, Texas, bringing its signature Southern charm and homemade chicken salad recipes to the local dining scene. The launch marks another milestone in the brand’s steady expansion across the state, offering guests a taste of comfort food served with community spirit. Opening day festivities are set to draw eager crowds, as the first hundred guests in line will receive free chicken salad, with the top spot earning a year’s supply and the remaining early birds enjoying generous monthly rewards.
The excitement extends throughout the week with daily giveaways designed to welcome new guests and reward loyal fans. Those purchasing a Chick Trio on Wednesday will take home a limited-edition tote bag, while later promotions feature branded RTIC tumblers and handcrafted wooden cutting boards. The grand opening celebration reflects the brand’s dedication to hospitality and its knack for turning a meal into a shared experience.
The new Mansfield location is owned by Troy Morrison of Meauxmentum Strategies and Investments, a seasoned entrepreneur whose company operates over 100 Taco Bell and Wingstop locations. Morrison said he was drawn to Chicken Salad Chick’s family-friendly culture and community-driven mission. He believes Mansfield’s close-knit residents will quickly embrace the restaurant’s scratch-made menu and welcoming atmosphere. “This isn’t just about serving food—it’s about creating a place where people can connect,” he shared, underscoring his vision for building more than a business.
Chicken Salad Chick’s menu features over a dozen varieties of chicken salad, alongside sandwiches, fresh salads, and classic Southern sides. Desserts round out the offerings, ensuring something for every taste. Beyond the food, the brand’s CSC Foundation continues its tradition of giving back, pledging to support local organizations like Mansfield Cares and other community-driven causes.
Scott Deviney, president and CEO of Chicken Salad Chick, emphasized the company’s confidence in its Texas market. “Texas continues to be one of our strongest regions, and we’re thrilled to see the brand grow under leaders who share our values,” he said. With Morrison’s experience and the brand’s established following, the new restaurant is well positioned to become a community favorite. The Mansfield debut serves as both a celebration of local enterprise and a reflection of Chicken Salad Chick’s broader expansion momentum across the South.
