CMG Companies leads the brand’s latest non-traditional growth push with new concession stands inside Allen Fieldhouse.

  • Little Caesars launches at the University of Kansas.
  • Dedicated stands and grab-and-go carts at Allen Fieldhouse.
  • Expansion reflects growth strategy in non-traditional locations.

Little Caesars is expanding its college campus presence with a new location inside the University of Kansas, where the brand will operate concession stands and grab-and-go carts throughout Allen Fieldhouse. Fans attending Jayhawks basketball and volleyball games will now have access to hot slices during the entire season as the company strengthens its presence in high-volume, non-traditional environments.

The move is led by CMG Companies, a Plano-based investment and operations firm that manages more than 550 locations across 40 states in restaurant, retail, hospitality, and real estate. CMG’s affiliate, Apricus QSR, operates more than 60 Little Caesars restaurants and continues to build out its footprint. Executives say the University of Kansas partnership reflects their ongoing strategy to expand both traditional stores and specialty venue formats across the region.

Ron Parikh, a founding partner at CMG Companies, said the group has already seen growth through conventional development in Kansas and views the university partnership as a natural next step. He noted that CMG’s focus on operational consistency, value, and accessibility aligns with Little Caesars’ broader mission. Leaders at Little Caesars added that non-traditional sites are becoming an increasingly important part of their national growth strategy, particularly when working with experienced franchise operators.

Little Caesars is actively recruiting qualified multi-unit franchisees as it accelerates development across the United States. Target markets include the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, Kansas City, New Orleans, and the Carolinas, along with additional university campuses, airports, water parks, and stadiums. The brand’s flexible formats, including the Elev8 design and modular POD units, allow operators to adapt to a wide range of real estate opportunities.

With more than six decades of family-owned history, Little Caesars continues to emphasize value, convenience, and quality. Franchisees benefit from an integrated supply chain, menu innovation, and strong national brand recognition. The company also maintains a longstanding commitment to community support through its Love Kitchen program, local partnerships, and incentive initiatives for veterans and first responders.
