Jeff’s Bagel Run is expanding into Myrtle Beach through a three-store franchise agreement that will introduce the brand to South Carolina’s Grand Strand for the first time. The first location is planned for 4112 River Oaks Drive, bringing the company’s scratch-made bagels and coffee program to one of the Southeast’s fastest-growing coastal markets.
The new restaurants will be operated by franchisees Jennifer Yanakiev and Brian Edelen, who previously worked with the Hungry Howie’s system. Their experience in restaurant franchising is expected to support the brand’s entry into Myrtle Beach as it establishes a local customer base and expands its presence along the South Carolina coast.
Co-founder Jeff Perera said the company views Myrtle Beach as a strong fit because of its population growth, tourism activity, and expanding residential market. Jeff’s Bagel Run currently operates 39 locations across several states and has more than 120 additional units in development, underscoring its broader national growth ambitions.
The company has also strengthened its coffee operations through the acquisition of longtime supplier Otus Coffee, a move aimed at improving menu development and supply-chain control. Executives said the acquisition is intended to support product consistency and enhance the customer experience across the growing franchise system.
As restaurant brands expand into new markets, maintaining strong customer relationships becomes increasingly important. Platforms such as Gorilla Dash can help franchise operators support CRM Integrations, centralize customer information, and improve engagement across multiple locations as their networks grow.
Jeff’s Bagel Run’s Myrtle Beach agreement reflects a broader trend of premium breakfast and coffee concepts targeting high-growth Southeast markets. By pairing scratch-made products with experienced franchise operators and a strengthened coffee program, the company is positioning itself for continued expansion in the competitive quick-service breakfast category.
