Through a recently signed franchise agreement, husband and wife team James and Eshelle Manion will open the city’s first Heights Wellness Retreat in the UnCommons development by Spring 2026. The location will sit across from the forthcoming Durango Casino & Resort, creating a strategic connection between the wellness brand and one of the city’s newest hospitality anchors.
The Manions are no strangers to business leadership or the Las Vegas landscape. Eshelle brings years of experience in healthcare marketing and senior living management, while James comes from a career in casino finance and revenue leadership. They said their decision to join Heights Wellness Retreat was rooted in a belief that Las Vegas is ready for a wellness concept that balances luxury with accessibility and that offers more depth than traditional spa services.
As part of its expansion strategy, Heights Wellness Retreat is evolving beyond massage therapy to introduce a wider range of next-generation services, including red light therapy, lymphatic drainage suits, salt therapy, and other touchless treatments designed for recovery and relaxation. Founder and CEO Shane Evans said the brand’s continued evolution reflects changing consumer expectations and a desire for wellness services that support physical performance and emotional well-being. Evans noted that the Las Vegas launch reinforces the company’s commitment to entering markets where residents and visitors value both health and hospitality.
