Fitstop is entering Texas with a four-studio development agreement in Houston, marking the Australian functional fitness franchise's first move into the state. The expansion adds Houston to a growing U.S. footprint that already includes studios in California and Pennsylvania, with the brand also targeting additional markets such as Austin and San Antonio. Fitstop currently has more than 170 locations across four countries.
The Houston expansion is being accompanied by a Franchise Discovery Webinar scheduled for September 2 from 6 to 7 p.m. CDT. The free session is designed for prospective franchise owners and will cover Fitstop's business model, investment considerations, operational systems, support structure and the broader opportunity in the U.S. market.
Fitstop's model centers on coach-led functional strength and conditioning delivered through team-based training. The company says its approach combines structured programming, professional coaching and a community-oriented environment, positioning the concept between traditional gyms and more specialized boutique fitness offerings. The brand reports more than 800 accredited trainers and a global community exceeding 30,000 members.
The webinar also allows potential owners to hear from people involved in the brand and from existing franchisees about the realities of launching and operating a studio. That owner perspective is particularly relevant as Fitstop moves beyond its established markets and builds a larger U.S. network.
As membership-based franchise networks expand, maintaining organized customer information can become increasingly important across locations. Using Gorilla Dash, franchise teams can manage member relationships through CRM Integrations, helping operators keep customer data organized and accessible as their studios grow. The same operational discipline that supports a new fitness location can become increasingly valuable as a franchise moves from a handful of studios toward a broader regional network.
