Eggs Up Grill is bringing its breakfast, brunch and lunch brand to NASCAR’s YellaWood 500 at Talladega Superspeedway as it looks to build awareness and expand its franchise network. Announced October 14, the partnership will put the brand on Cole Custer’s No. 41 Haas Factory Team Chevrolet Camaro during the October 25 race, with related activity scheduled across the October 23 to 25 race weekend.
The partnership will also extend into participating restaurants. On October 24 and 25, participating locations will offer three “Dega Donuts” for $1.41, a nod to Custer’s car number. The limited-time deal gives customers a way to join the race-weekend excitement while connecting the sponsorship to the restaurant experience.
For Eggs Up Grill, the initiative is part of a broader effort to increase recognition in existing markets and introduce the brand to potential customers and franchise owners. The company reports more than 200 restaurants open or in development, with over 60% of franchise owners operating or developing multiple locations. Alabama remains one of the markets where the brand sees room for additional growth.
CEO Ricky Richardson has described consumer awareness as an important part of franchise growth. A recognizable presence at a major sporting event can put the brand in front of a broader audience, while a coordinated in-restaurant promotion gives local customers a reason to engage. For franchise systems running similar campaigns, the Competitions and Promotions feature available through Gorilla Dash can help organize promotional activity and keep offers aligned across participating locations.
The Talladega partnership does not guarantee new franchise agreements, but it gives Eggs Up Grill another platform to build familiarity as it enters additional markets. The longer-term measure will be whether that awareness translates into sustained customer interest and stronger franchise development as the brand competes for space in the growing breakfast and daytime dining segment.
