A New Era for Domino’s Pizza in ANZ Leadership
- Kerri Hayman will leave her role as ANZ CEO in August 2025.
- Greg Steenson has been appointed as the new COO immediately.
- Domino's implements a new 'Recipe for Growth' strategy for ANZ.
Kerri’s nearly four-decade tenure at Domino’s has been illustrious, crossing paths with the company in Australia, the UK, and the US, earning her a spot in the corporate hall of fame. With a hearty passion for pizza, Hayman expressed, “Working with Domino’s has given me some of the most rewarding experiences of my life.”
The timing seems impeccable, as Hayman believes now is ripe to pass the torch amidst a well-structured leadership transition and a promising strategic plan dubbed the ‘Recipe for Growth’ for Australia and New Zealand.
“Things are looking up for Domino’s. Our pizza game is strong, and the franchise partners are benefitting from healthier sales,” she remarked, before promising to support management while handing over her responsibilities on August 29.
Mark van Dyck, the group CEO and managing director, joined the fanfare of praise, complimenting Hayman’s contagious enthusiasm for pizza and commitment to operational excellence. He noted her impact in making the business more resilient during her return to Australia in 2023.
In a parallel shift, Greg Steenson, formerly head of operations and a recognised franchisee, has transitioned to the COO role promptly. With accolades that speak volumes, including being named ANZ Manager of the Year, Steenson’s vast experience in successfully leading improvements in operational processes has Domino’s feeling optimistic about the future.
Three years ago, he orchestrated a turnaround of corporate stores and has since been championing the seamless integration of third-party delivery systems. As the brand sets its sights on new heights, it looks forward to the challenges ahead with the right players in the game.
