Club Pilates has taken a major step in its international growth by signing a Master Franchise Agreement to bring 20 new studios to Thailand. The expansion, developed in partnership with Me In Motion Co., Ltd., will introduce the brand to Bangkok and the nearby province of Chonburi, two of the country’s most vibrant and health-conscious regions. The move highlights the brand’s growing influence in Asia’s wellness market and marks another milestone in its ongoing global expansion.
Leading the initiative are Me In Motion’s CEO, Thanayous Kositsakul, and his wife and business partner, Varissara Kositsakul. The pair are seasoned entrepreneurs with a strong background in brand management, having operated Toyota dealerships in Thailand for more than 30 years. They also co-founded TAFF Co., Ltd., a company that brought world-renowned labels such as Adidas and Callaway Golf to Thai consumers. Their blend of retail, franchise, and lifestyle experience positions them to steer Club Pilates’ entry into the country with both expertise and local understanding.
“Thailand is the undisputed trendsetter in wellness across the region, and Pilates is quickly becoming the flagbearer of this movement,” said Bob Kaufman, President of International at Xponential Fitness, the parent company of Club Pilates. “It is the perfect time to roll out the red carpet for Club Pilates in Bangkok.” Kaufman emphasized that the Kositsakuls’ proven record in launching international brands gives the company confidence that the new studios will find strong traction in Thailand’s evolving fitness culture.
For Thanayous Kositsakul, the project represents both a business opportunity and a passion for advancing health and wellness in Thai communities. “Our experience with global brands gives us confidence that Club Pilates will resonate with the Thai market,” he said. “We are eager to bring a premium Pilates experience to our local neighborhoods.”
The agreement underscores how Thailand’s wellness economy is becoming a prime target for global fitness franchises. With its growing urban population, emphasis on self-care, and appetite for international trends, the country provides fertile ground for boutique concepts like Club Pilates. The rollout will bring new options for mindful movement to a market already embracing holistic health, setting the stage for Thailand to become a regional hub for Pilates in Southeast Asia.
