Chopstix has opened its first French restaurant in Paris, marking a significant expansion for the UK based Pan Asian quick service chain. The location, situated at 58 rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine in the Bastille area, introduces the brand’s noodle focused menu to one of the city’s most dynamic dining neighborhoods. For Chopstix, the opening represents both a symbolic and strategic step into continental Europe.
The Paris debut is the first move in an ambitious plan to establish up to 50 locations across France over the next three years. Chopstix currently operates more than 170 restaurants throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland, where it has built a loyal customer base around fast, flavorful meals offered at accessible price points. Company leaders see France as a natural next market given the country’s growing appetite for international quick service concepts.
Expansion efforts are being led in partnership with QSRP, which will oversee development and operations in France. A dedicated local team has been formed to manage the rollout, reflecting an emphasis on adapting the concept to regional preferences while maintaining the brand’s core identity. Initial growth will focus on the Île-de-France region before extending into other major urban centers.
Chopstix’s menu centers on customizable noodle dishes and Pan Asian flavors designed for speed and consistency. The brand believes its flexible store formats will allow it to integrate smoothly into high traffic retail districts, transport hubs, and city centers. This adaptability has been a key driver of its success in the UK and Ireland.
With its first French restaurant now open, Chopstix is positioning itself for long term growth in a competitive market. The Paris launch signals confidence in the brand’s ability to scale internationally while meeting evolving consumer expectations. As the rollout continues, Chopstix aims to establish itself as a recognizable player in France’s quick service dining landscape.
