Cedar Park is welcoming a fresh wave of coffee culture as The Human Bean prepares to open a new drive-thru location at 104 W Whitestone Blvd. Known for its commitment to quality ingredients and personalized service, the franchise will be operated by siblings Neil and Rae Ehrlich, who are bringing their entrepreneurial spirit and community-first approach to the region.
The Ehrlichs, already familiar faces in the local business scene through their involvement with The Good Lot, see this new venture as a natural progression. “When we kickstarted our journey by serving beer at The Good Lot, we sensed the community's desire for quality. Our leap into The Human Bean wasn’t just a business decision; it aligned perfectly with our values centered on quality, family, and community connections,” said Neil Ehrlich.
The menu at The Human Bean in Cedar Park will offer a diverse selection of drinks, including customer favorites such as the Snowy® Mocha and the Java Chip Granita. A standout addition is the Bright Energy drink, a refreshing beverage that uses caffeine sourced from green coffee beans. Seasonal specials and limited-time offerings will provide variety throughout the year, while a complimentary chocolate-covered espresso bean accompanies every drink as a signature gesture.
Beyond beverages, The Human Bean stands out for its dedication to charitable work. Each franchise participates in key philanthropic events, notably the annual “Coffee for a Cure” fundraiser held every October to support cancer research and treatment initiatives nationwide. “Our giveback events are integral to our identity,” emphasized Scott Anderson, COO of The Human Bean.
To reward customer loyalty, The Human Bean Rewards App allows guests to earn points toward free drinks and receive exclusive promotional offers. As anticipation builds in Cedar Park, coffee enthusiasts can explore the menu and download the app in preparation for the upcoming launch.
