BooXkeeping has officially expanded its footprint into Wichita, Kansas, with the addition of Ryan Schwerdtfeger as its newest franchisee. Backed by years of expertise in finance and accounting, Schwerdtfeger brings a unique blend of corporate leadership and entrepreneurial vision to the brand’s growing national presence.
Currently serving as corporate controller for Captain D’s, Schwerdtfeger has spent much of his career navigating the intricacies of audit and tax compliance. His financial journey began during his academic years, where he worked with a CPA firm and progressed to earn a full CPA license in Kansas. That hands-on experience exposed him to the common challenges faced by small businesses—chief among them, the lack of reliable and affordable bookkeeping services.
Recognizing this gap in the market, Schwerdtfeger began searching for a business model that aligned with his long-term goals of offering streamlined financial support to small business owners. He found that solution in BooXkeeping, a cloud-based bookkeeping franchise known for its modern approach to accounting services.
“This is something I’ve always wanted to do,” Schwerdtfeger shared. “When I found BooXkeeping, I realized they’re already doing what I envisioned on my own.” The partnership gives him the opportunity to combine his strategic consulting background with BooXkeeping’s digital platform, delivering efficient and accurate bookkeeping to businesses throughout Wichita.
He believes this model will not only reduce operational costs for local enterprises but also improve service speed and accuracy. “It can be done more efficiently and faster,” he noted, emphasizing that outsourced bookkeeping offers a practical alternative to in-house staff.
BooXkeeping has gained a reputation for offering scalable solutions for entrepreneurs and small businesses across the country. Its CEO and Co-Founder, Max Emma, praised Schwerdtfeger’s addition to the network, saying, “His experience and insight are exactly what we look for in a franchise partner. We know he’ll make a big impact in Wichita.”
As Schwerdtfeger embarks on this new venture, his mission remains clear: to strengthen local businesses through dependable financial services powered by innovation and expertise.
