Atomic Wings is adding fresh momentum to its 2026 growth strategy after opening eight new restaurants across five states in the third quarter. The New York-born wing brand added locations in Fresh Meadows and Manhattan, New York; Hoboken and Jersey City, New Jersey; Houston and Leander, Texas; Cleveland, Ohio; and Rapid City, South Dakota.
The expansion reflects a two-track approach for Atomic Wings, with continued development in its core New York and New Jersey markets alongside entry into additional regions. CEO Zak Omar said the company is focused on finding the right markets and operators while maintaining the quality and authenticity associated with the brand.
The latest openings build on plans announced earlier in 2026 to expand the system by more than 20 locations. Atomic Wings had 24 restaurants when those plans were announced in May, with development also expected across Illinois, Minnesota and other markets. The company now says its system has experienced close to 100% growth this year.
The development pipeline remains active heading into the fourth quarter, with additional restaurants planned in Columbus, Ohio; Turnersville, New Jersey; Manhattan; Chicago and Joliet, Illinois; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Minnesota. The continued rollout gives the brand opportunities to build density in established markets while extending its New York identity into new communities.
For franchise organizations managing growth across multiple locations, maintaining consistent operating information can become increasingly important as teams and markets multiply. Gorilla Dash offers a Knowledge Base feature that can help centralize procedures, reference materials and other business information, giving expanding franchise networks a structured place to organize resources as they grow.
