Angry Chickz opened a new restaurant in Avondale, Arizona, on September 11, marking the Nashville hot chicken brand's fourth location in the state and 47th nationwide. The restaurant is located at 10285 W. McDowell Rd., Suite A100.
Grand opening festivities began at 11 a.m. and included a limited-edition Angry Chickz jersey for the first 100 guests. In contrast, the first 500 could enter an on-site raffle for a year of Angry Chickz and additional food prizes through online registration. The brand has built a reputation for drawing dedicated fans to its openings, with supporters known to line up, and occasionally camp out overnight, for new locations.
The menu centers on Nashville hot chicken with customizable heat levels ranging from a no-heat "country" option to the waiver-signing "angry" level. Guests can order made-to-order chicken tenders, sliders and bowls, alongside sides including mac and cheese, coleslaw and fries.
Mike LaRue, Vice President of Franchise Development at Angry Chickz, said the brand has seen a strong response in Arizona and views Avondale as a natural next step in building its presence across the state. He added that the team is looking forward to introducing more West Valley guests to the brand and becoming part of the local community.
Coordinating a grand opening built around limited giveaways and a raffle takes careful planning to keep the offer clear and properly tracked from launch to close.
