Vitality Bowls has opened a new café in Prosper, Texas, expanding the superfood concept’s presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Led by local entrepreneurs Fola Popoola and Isah Yusuf, the new restaurant opened August 31 at 201 W Frontier Parkway, Suite 40, in Victory Shops at Frontier. The café is the brand’s 12th location in Texas and contributes to a nationwide network of more than 70 locations.
The opening was supported by a series of introductory promotions designed to bring Prosper residents through the doors. Customers could receive a Buy One Get One Free offer on açaí bowls on opening day, followed by a Buy One Get One 50% off promotion on menu items from September 1 through September 2. Popoola said the franchise team saw an opportunity to introduce the brand’s meal options while becoming part of the growing local community.
Vitality Bowls has built its menu around açaí bowls, smoothies, salads, wraps, grain bowls and other items featuring superfoods. Its offerings include the Superfood Bowl, which combines açaí, pitaya, almond milk, organic granola, cacao nibs and goji berries, as well as the Chimichurri Steak Wrap. The brand also operates a Loyalty Club through its mobile app, allowing customers to earn points, redeem rewards and place online orders.
For franchise operators, the Prosper opening also illustrates how launch promotions can help introduce a new location to its market.
