The Pickle Pad is expanding its indoor entertainment and pickleball concept with three new locations set for Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; St. George, Utah; and Newport News, Virginia. The announcement follows a period of significant growth, with 12 franchise agreements signed and nine venues already in development, signaling the brand’s accelerating national presence.
Each new Pickle Pad location will feature multiple indoor pickleball courts, dedicated event spaces, and Crave Social Eatery—a full-service restaurant that offers fresh, chef-inspired menus tailored for active guests. These venues are designed to foster community engagement through a mix of sports and social activities, including cornhole, shuffleboard, mini-golf, and foosball.
Chris Kuehn, President of Indoor Active Brands, which owns The Pickle Pad, emphasized the brand’s focus on strategic regional growth: “The Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions represent some of the most exciting opportunities for our brand. These new locations are about more than just pickleball—they’re about creating spaces where people can connect and enjoy shared experiences.”
The Pickle Pad has already established a strong presence in Virginia and South Carolina, and with additional franchisees in North Carolina and Georgia, the brand is quickly becoming a central hub for active, family-friendly recreation across the region.
In addition to its sports and social offerings, The Pickle Pad prioritizes customer experience through a modern environment that appeals to both seasoned players and newcomers. With Crave Social Eatery serving up vibrant, locally inspired dishes, each venue is positioned not just as a sports facility, but as a lifestyle destination.
The company aims to open 10 to 15 new locations annually, building momentum as one of the few franchise concepts in the indoor pickleball category. This growth reflects a rising consumer demand for high-quality indoor athletic facilities combined with premium dining and entertainment experiences.
As pickleball continues its nationwide boom, The Pickle Pad is meeting the moment with a scalable concept that emphasizes community, convenience, and elevated recreation—all under one roof.
