In a move that underscores its commitment to growth and community connection, The Big Biscuit has announced plans to open four new corporate-operated restaurants in Wichita. The first location has already opened at 2330 N. Maize, with three additional sites currently in development.
The expansion is being led by President and Co-CEO Chad Offerdahl and VP of Operations Scott Jayne, who aim to introduce the brand’s signature breakfast and lunch offerings to a broader audience. Chad's relationship with The Big Biscuit began during a visit to the Independence, Missouri location with his father, David Offerdahl, now his fellow Co-CEO. Since acquiring the brand in 2010, the Offerdahl family has focused on scaling its reach through strong leadership and a passion for quality dining experiences.
“We have been looking forward to opening The Big Biscuit in Wichita for years,” said Chad Offerdahl. “There are a lot of people in the community who are familiar with our restaurants and love our food.” With Wichita’s growing reputation as a vibrant culinary destination, Offerdahl sees strong potential for long-term success and local engagement.
As part of its continued evolution, The Big Biscuit recently introduced its most extensive menu update in over five years.
