SushiDog has opened its first Midlands restaurant at Birmingham Bullring, marking the brand’s expansion beyond London. The kiosk-style venue brings a fresh and interactive dining experience to the city, offering fully customisable sushi for both dine-in and takeaway customers. With seating for 25 guests, it provides a cosy space for shoppers and commuters to enjoy a quick, high-quality meal.
The restaurant’s interior is highlighted by a vibrant hand-painted mural by local illustrator Pheeb Robinson. This artistic touch reflects SushiDog’s commitment to blending creativity with food and gives the venue a distinctive local character. Guests can enjoy their meals in a lively setting designed for both casual dining and social media-worthy experiences.
Every dish is prepared fresh to order, allowing diners to personalise their sushi burritos, bowls, and salads with a wide range of proteins, vegetables, and house-made sauces. This flexibility and attention to quality have helped the brand build a loyal following in its London locations since its 2018 launch.
The new Birmingham outlet also strengthens Bullring’s retail dining mix, catering to the increasing demand for fast-casual, premium quick-serve concepts. By combining convenience, high-quality ingredients, and a memorable dining environment, SushiDog offers a unique alternative to traditional takeaway and fast-food options.
To celebrate its debut, SushiDog welcomed its first customers with special promotions, including complimentary signature items and discounted meals. The launch signals the brand’s strategy to continue expanding across the UK, introducing its customisable sushi concept to more regional markets.
