Snap Fitness made a strong impression at the 2025 BFA HSBC UK British Franchise Awards, taking home two of the night’s most coveted honors. The global fitness franchise was recognized for its innovation with the Research & Development Award, while its Bristol Staple Hill location, led by franchisees Sajda Parveen, Imran Bashir, and Rizwan Bashir, earned the Customer Focus Award for its exceptional commitment to member satisfaction.
The Research & Development Award recognized Snap Fitness for its strategic reinvention of the member experience. The brand introduced fresh group exercise classes, modernized club layouts, and added recovery zones, all designed to elevate engagement and retention. This comprehensive approach yielded impressive results, with 93 percent of its clubs reporting full classes. CEO Kevin Yates praised his team’s effort, saying that the recognition reflects their drive to “deliver a truly world-class fitness experience.”
Bristol Staple Hill’s Customer Focus win was no less deserved. The team’s consistent delivery of high-quality service, outstanding Net Promoter Scores, and remarkable member retention helped set a new benchmark within the network. Their approach, grounded in community engagement and a people-first mindset, reinforced Snap Fitness’s reputation for operational excellence at the local level.
With five other nominations, including Franchise Support and Multi-Unit Franchisee of the Year, Snap Fitness’s presence at the awards underscored its growing influence in the UK’s competitive fitness franchise sector. As the brand reports an 18 percent increase in membership across its network, far exceeding the industry average, it signals a year of continued growth, innovation, and community impact for one of the country’s most dynamic fitness operators.
