Smoothie King entered the final stretch of 2025 with fresh energy, reporting one of its strongest quarters in recent memory. The health-focused franchise secured 32 new store commitments across the United States, including a three-unit deal in Brooklyn, New York, marking its first traditional Manhattan location. The company also made its debut in Utah and Minnesota, adding to an already robust national footprint.
The expansion extends beyond geography. Smoothie King has officially launched its first-ever national food menu, now available in more than 1,200 stores. Designed to complement its signature smoothies, the new “Power Eats” lineup features high-protein, portable options for customers seeking convenient, balanced meals. The move represents a major step toward positioning the brand as a holistic health destination rather than a traditional beverage chain.
President and Chief Financial Officer Gavin Felder described the quarter as a reflection of the company’s resilience and forward momentum. “This quarter showcases the continued strength of our incredible franchise community and the exciting momentum driving the Smoothie King brand,” he said. Felder noted that more than half of the new franchise agreements came from first-time operators, underscoring the brand’s broadening appeal among new investors.
The company also expanded its presence in non-traditional locations, including new openings at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. This marks a continuation of Smoothie King’s strategy to meet consumers where they are, from busy terminals to urban centers.
With strong unit growth, new menu innovation, and increasing interest from first-time franchisees, Smoothie King is signaling a new chapter in its evolution. The company’s recent momentum demonstrates how health-forward fast-casual brands can scale nationally while maintaining a focus on purpose-driven innovation and community connection.
