Slick City Action Park has opened its 50th park in Milford, Massachusetts, marking a significant milestone for the indoor entertainment brand as it continues expanding across the United States and Europe. The opening brings the company’s footprint to 23 U.S. states. Since its first park opened in Lakewood, Colorado, in 2022, Slick City has developed a concept built around indoor dry slides, air courts and attractions designed for a broad range of ages. The company reported 173 locations signed or open globally as of September 2026 and more than 6 million guest visits since its debut.
The Milford location is owned by local entrepreneur Elliot Field and features 13 signature slides and attractions. It is among 25 parks Slick City has opened in 2026, reflecting the pace of its recent development. The company expects to exceed 60 open locations by the end of this year and reach more than 120 by the end of 2027. Planned U.S. openings include Vancouver, Washington; Boise, Idaho; Yorba Linda, California; and Ogden, Utah.
International growth is also becoming a larger part of the strategy. Working with European indoor leisure group Activeon, Slick City is preparing to open parks in Gothenburg, Sweden, and Vienna, Austria, following its debut in Nottingham, England. Activeon has committed to developing at least 26 locations across the European Union, while the companies have identified more than 135 potential markets. The expansion allows Slick City to test its indoor entertainment model in additional markets while building a wider international presence.
Co-founder and CEO Bron Launsby has credited the company’s growth to building a franchise system supported by operational standards, continued innovation and franchisee support. A minority investment from Endeavour has helped underpin plans to strengthen the company’s infrastructure, technology and support systems. Slick Slide, the brand’s vertically integrated affiliate, develops and manufactures its signature attractions, giving the company an in-house resource for product development as it adds locations.
As a franchise network expands, maintaining consistent operating practices and making reliable guidance accessible to location teams become increasingly important. The Knowledge Base feature available through Gorilla Dash can help franchise organizations centralize operational documentation and make reference materials easier to access across their networks. For Slick City, the next phase will test whether its rapid pace of openings can be matched by the systems and support needed to sustain a consistent guest experience in new U.S. and European markets.
