Olive Garden is diving into summer fun with a fresh twist—introducing a whimsical line of pasta-shaped pool floats that bring Italian flair to backyard lounging. The collection includes three floats designed to resemble iconic pasta dishes: Floatin’ Fettuccine, Relaxin’ Rigatoni, and Takin’ It Easy Tortelloni. Each is available for purchase online and comes with a surprise bonus item—what Olive Garden calls a “first course.” These include a breadstick-patterned bucket hat, a soup-themed tote bag, or a floating beverage holder, all shipped at no additional cost.
More than just eye-catching novelties, each float offers a distinct lounging experience. The Floatin’ Fettuccine is built for full-body relaxation, while the Takin’ It Easy Tortelloni supports upright seating with feet submerged. The Relaxin’ Rigatoni delivers a wraparound embrace that’s as cozy as the brand’s famous breadsticks.
According to Jaime Bunker, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Olive Garden, the float collection reflects the restaurant’s broader identity. “Olive Garden has always been known for going big—big portions, big value, and never-ending first courses. This summer, we’re bringing that same spirit of abundance to the pool.”
The launch of these limited-edition floats also ties into Olive Garden’s current culinary innovation, complementing new menu offerings with a dose of lighthearted creativity. Backed by Darden Restaurants Inc. and a network of nearly 900 locations, the brand continues to find new ways to engage with loyal fans beyond the dining table.
