Mr Gatti's Pizza will soon bring its signature mix of food and fun to Big Spring, Texas, with the grand opening of its first local restaurant on November 1. The new location will go beyond serving pizza, offering a full Family Entertainment Center experience that includes arcade games, bumper cars, and other activities designed to bring families together. Guests can join the grand opening celebration beginning at 10:30 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the local chamber of commerce.
The venture is led by Amanda and Brint Ryan, who are known for their ongoing efforts to revitalize Big Spring. The couple previously restored the historic Hotel Settles, a project that helped spark renewed local pride. Brint Ryan, founder of the Dallas-based tax services firm Ryan LLC and a Big Spring native, said the new restaurant represents a personal milestone. “Bringing Mr. Gatti’s to my hometown is an aspiration fulfilled,” he said. “It is about more than just food; it is about community.”
Amanda Ryan shares that sense of purpose, noting that their goal is to create a gathering space for families to celebrate life’s moments. The grand opening will feature live entertainment, face painting, games, and giveaways, including free pizza for a year and $5 game cards for the first 50 children who join the buffet. The event aims to introduce not only a new dining option but also a place where residents of all ages can relax, connect, and enjoy time together.
For Mr Gatti's Pizza, the Big Spring opening reflects a broader expansion strategy centered on combining food with family entertainment. The company continues to grow through franchising, with the Ryans’ leadership reinforcing how local ownership can strengthen community ties. As the ovens fire up on opening day, Big Spring will gain more than another restaurant; it will welcome a new venue built around family, friendship, and hometown pride.
