A Broker Network's Charitable Triumph in FY25

  • Mortgage Choice broker network donated $444,576 in FY25.
  • 94% of brokers participated in fundraising efforts.
  • MCCF has raised over $1 million since its inception.
The Mortgage Choice broker network has taken altruism to a new height by donating a staggering $444,576 to charities across Australia in FY25. A substantial 92% of brokers opted in, contributing $5 for each loan settled over $100,000. The generosity doesn't stop there, with the percentage of participating brokers climbing to 94% in FY26.

With fundraising events at national conferences and professional development days, the Mortgage Choice Charity Foundation (MCCF) also benefits from an annual contribution by its parent company, REA Group, which last year was a generous $150,000. "It’s fantastic to see the MCCF having a meaningful impact donating more than $444,000 to 78 charities throughout the financial year," said Mortgage Choice CEO Anthony Waldron.

His enthusiasm echoes the sentiments of the brokers, who are on a mission to uplift their communities. Since its inception, the MCCF has raised over $1 million to assist those in need throughout Australia.

For the past three years, the focus has been on charities aiding vulnerable groups, housing, and financial literacy. Notable beneficiaries in FY25 included Dolly’s Dream, Habitat for Humanity, and Subiaco Justice Centre, among others.

Donna Campbell, the MCCF committee national chairperson, emphasized the importance of giving back during the current cost-of-living crisis, stating, “Mortgage Choice brokers are immensely proud of the impact the MCCF is making through donations and volunteering.” Therefore, the brokers not only contributed financially but also volunteered for local charities, preparing meals for the homeless and emergency packs for vulnerable children.

Looking ahead, Mortgage Choice is set to continue this noble journey, supporting state-based charities nominated by franchisees and proudly partnering with the Starlight Children’s Foundation as their National Charity Partner in the upcoming year.
