Little Greek Fresh Grill is expanding its presence in Florida with a mix of Express and traditional restaurant formats as the Mediterranean franchise advances its goal of reaching 100 locations by 2031. The company has opened two new Little Greek Express locations this year, including a redesigned location at Tropicana Field and another operating within a Westshore Pizza restaurant in Clearwater. The expansion reflects a broader strategy to bring the brand into high-traffic, nontraditional venues while continuing to grow its footprint through full-service restaurants.
The Clearwater partnership has emerged as an early success. Since introducing Little Greek Express inside Westshore Pizza, the location has recorded a 43 percent increase in sales, demonstrating the potential of the co-branded concept. Paul Samson, Chief Executive Officer of Westshore Pizza, said the addition has created a meaningful new revenue stream without the expense of opening a separate restaurant, while also giving customers a broader range of menu options.
Little Greek plans to build on that momentum with new Express locations in Seffner and Brandon, Florida, alongside a traditional restaurant in Lutz. President Nick Vojnovic said the company is creating a growth platform that extends beyond a single restaurant format, allowing the brand to reach customers in more locations while providing franchise partners with greater flexibility. The company intends to continue developing both traditional restaurants and Express concepts as complementary avenues for expansion.
As franchise brands introduce multiple operating formats, communicating expansion milestones consistently across the network becomes increasingly important. The News, Articles and Blog Posts feature in Gorilla Dash provides a centralized way to publish company announcements, highlight new openings and share business updates with franchisees and stakeholders. By keeping teams informed with timely content, the platform can support alignment as franchise systems continue to grow.
