Pensacola’s pet lovers are preparing to welcome a new name in dog care. On October 4, local entrepreneurs Renee and Derrick Drinnon will introduce Hounds Town USA to the community, providing daycare, boarding, and spa services for dogs across the region. The facility promises to combine professional expertise with a family-centered approach to pet care.
The Drinnons bring a unique blend of experience to their new venture. Derrick has spent more than three decades in animal health, while Renee has built a career in human resources and team management. Together they aim to create an environment where pets thrive and employees feel motivated to deliver outstanding service. Renee described the opportunity as a perfect fit, noting, “We know how much people love their pets here.”
The new Hounds Town will offer a safe and engaging space for dogs, whether they are staying overnight or simply enjoying a day of play. The Drinnons are committed to maintaining high standards of care, drawing on Derrick’s expertise in animal wellness and Renee’s strengths in team building to ensure both pets and staff receive the attention they deserve.
Rob Flanagan, CEO of Hounds Town USA, welcomed the new location, saying the brand is excited to extend its services to the Florida Panhandle. He emphasized the importance of bringing trusted care to a region known for its strong pet-owning community.
As Pensacola prepares for the grand opening, the Drinnons’ leadership and passion for animals stand out as a key driver of success. Their partnership with Hounds Town reflects not only the growth of the franchise but also the growing role of pet care as an essential service for families.
