Eggslut, the cult favorite known for its egg-centered comfort food, will make its first move outside London with a new restaurant in Manchester. Scheduled to open at the end of January, the location brings the Los Angeles-born brand’s focus on elevated breakfast staples to a new northern audience. The expansion signals confidence that Eggslut’s model, built on simple ingredients prepared with precision, can resonate well beyond the capital.
The Manchester restaurant will occupy space in Centurion House on Deansgate, and the company has opted to keep its menu close to the recipes that helped define its reputation. Guests will find the classic Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich alongside the Pork Romesco, a combination of crispy pork belly and an over-easy egg finished with romesco sauce. The opening will also introduce French Toast Sticks to the UK menu, featuring thick brioche fried to order, coated in cinnamon sugar and paired with maple custard.
Another signature item, the Fairfax, will also appear on the Manchester lineup. The dish pairs soft scrambled eggs with caramelized onions, cheddar, chives and sriracha mayonnaise inside a brioche bun. The new site will serve a bespoke coffee blend from Kiss The Hippo as well as fresh orange juice and cold brew selections. The brand continues to focus on creating a full breakfast and brunch experience rather than treating eggs as a single-occasion menu category.
The Manchester opening arrives at a time when Eggslut is expanding its services to include catering for offices, photo shoots, meetings and events. The company launched its UK catering program earlier this year and sees regional growth as the next phase of its development. Since first introducing its food to British diners at Taste of London in 2019, Eggslut has built a loyal following across its London locations. The move into Manchester marks the start of a broader national strategy and will test demand for the brand’s distinctive take on casual dining in new markets.
