Duck Donuts is celebrating National Coffee Day with a limited-time promotion designed to entice both donut lovers and coffee enthusiasts. From September 29 through October 3, customers who make any purchase will receive one free Espresso Donut, with the offer limited to one per guest. The promotion also includes a two-dollar discount on retail coffee bags, giving fans a chance to enjoy Duck Donuts’ new blends at home.
Devon Mailey, interim chief executive officer of Duck Donuts, said the timing could not be better. “Our guests love pairing Duck Donuts with a great cup of coffee. What better time than National Coffee Day to bring back our popular espresso icing and introduce our new retail coffee bags?” Mailey said. The initiative highlights the company’s focus on connecting in-store experiences with products that extend the brand into the daily routines of its customers.
The promotion coincides with Duck Donuts’ partnership with Dillanos Coffee Roasters, a collaboration intended to strengthen the company’s beverage program. Through this alliance, shops will feature an expanded espresso menu that includes lattes, cappuccinos, and other specialty drinks. At the same time, Duck Donuts is launching retail coffee products that allow customers to bring the brand’s flavors into their own kitchens.
David J Morris, founder of Dillanos Coffee Roasters, emphasized the cultural value of the partnership. “Great coffee brings people together, and this partnership is a wonderful way to share that with Duck Donuts fans,” he said. The collaboration reflects a broader trend in franchising, where food concepts align with specialty beverage providers to enhance customer loyalty and expand revenue opportunities.
Duck Donuts has built its reputation on warm, made-to-order donuts that can be customized with an array of coatings and toppings. Choices range from classic chocolate with sprinkles to inventive options such as maple icing with bacon. Beyond donuts, the menu includes coffee, tea, breakfast sandwiches, sundaes, and milkshakes. The company also continues to invest in digital convenience, offering online ordering that helps customers satisfy cravings wherever they are.
