Boss Pizza has officially launched its fourth UK location at 132 High Street in Colchester, bringing its signature 12-inch pizzas and a burst of energy to the town’s culinary scene. The grand opening, held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, created 15 new local jobs and drew a steady stream of pizza enthusiasts throughout the day.
To mark the occasion, the fast-growing chain rolled out a limited-time £2 promotion on its popular Margherita and Meat Feast pizzas. Available from noon to 4 p.m., the offer sparked a feeding frenzy, with more than 500 pizzas sold in just four hours. The overwhelming response signaled a warm welcome from the Colchester community and affirmed the area’s appetite for Boss Pizza’s bold flavors and value-driven approach.
Founded during the pandemic by restaurateur Ajmal Mushtaq, Boss Pizza has quickly made a name for itself by serving generously sized pizzas crafted with fresh ingredients at competitive prices. The Colchester branch marks the brand’s first foray into Essex and joins existing locations in Scotland and the West Midlands.
With expansion plans already underway, Boss Pizza is preparing to open additional sites in Bradford, Glasgow, Oldham, Nottingham, and Milton Keynes this summer. The company’s broader goal is to launch 20 new branches over the next 18 months, reflecting an ambitious growth strategy grounded in community engagement and customer satisfaction.
Mushtaq praised the Colchester team for managing the grand opening crowds with enthusiasm and efficiency. He also expressed gratitude to local residents for their support, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to creating employment opportunities and delivering high-quality, affordable food wherever it expands.
As Boss Pizza continues to grow, its arrival in Colchester marks a flavorful step forward—bringing a fresh, independent alternative to the town’s High Street and offering residents a new reason to dine local.
