Chopped Leaf is bringing a new approach to catering this September with the launch of portable, stackable catering boxes. The Canadian fast-casual chain says the new packaging is designed to make it easier to serve fresh meals at events of any size while maintaining quality and presentation.
The boxes are built to simplify both transport and setup, addressing one of the most common frustrations with traditional catering: food that arrives lukewarm or difficult to portion out. By offering individual meals that can be neatly stacked, Chopped Leaf hopes to provide a stress-free alternative for office lunches, birthday celebrations, and community gatherings.
The company is also leaning into the growing demand for inclusivity in menu planning. A recent ezCater report found that nearly one-third of corporate catering orders include requests for vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options. Chopped Leaf’s menu is designed to meet that demand, offering hearty bowls, crisp salads, and wraps alongside cookie platters that cater to a variety of dietary preferences.
Karen Paradine, the company’s head of marketing, said the new catering boxes reflect changing expectations around convenience and health. “More people are looking for fresh, inclusive and convenient meals, and our new catering boxes make it easier than ever to serve everyone,” she explained. The focus, she added, is on ensuring each guest feels considered and satisfied.
Customers appear to agree. One client recently placed an order for 115 bowls and described the experience as seamless, praising the care and attention given to the large request. Others have noted the appeal of reliable delivery and the ease of offering something that pleases diverse groups without additional planning.
For Chopped Leaf, the innovation underscores a broader strategy to strengthen its position in the catering market while reinforcing its reputation for healthy dining. With flexible delivery and pickup options across Canada, the new catering boxes add another dimension to a brand that has built its growth on convenience, freshness, and inclusivity.
